Airlie Carpet Care was established by its current owners in January 1986 and is the oldest registered carpet cleaning business in the Whitsundays.

The current owners are now seeking to retire and will be available to the new owner for training and guidance.

The business began as a carpet and upholstery cleaning business but soon diversified into a contract and commercial cleaning business when the owners won the contract to clean the South Molle ferry boats (Whitsunday Connections) every night for 6 years.

This led to regular carpet cleaning of the Whitsunday All Overwater taxis fleet. This lead to the business winning the contract to clean the Fantasea Cruises fleet of 9 boats which they did every night for 12 years. This contract finished when Fantasea Cruises was sold to Riverside Marine.

When Cruise Whitsunday moved their fleet from Abel Point Marina to Port of Airlie the business won the contract to clean the terminal building every night which they have now been doing since September 2014.

The owners diversified further into commercial buildings, Clubs and Pubs and continues servicing these clients today.

The business also has a large customer base that includes various boats and vessels most of which are based at Abel Point Marina and also many loyal domestic clients who engage them to clean carpets and upholstery, strip and seal vinyl floors, buff timber floors, and clean tiled floors.
